  3. PCB layout of a ARM3 adapter for
  4. older Acorn machines with ARM2
  5. processor.

  7. Desolder the ARM2 socket and 
  8. replace it with a PGA socket.
  9.  
  10. Etch the 2 PCBs. The smaller one is
  11. the adapter from the new PGA on the 
  12. motherboard to the main PCB.
  13. The main PCB is a double sided one.
  14. You need:
  15. 1 x ARMIII CPU with socket
  16. 1 x Oszillator 2xCPU clock
  17. 1 x 74(ACx,F)74 with socket
  18. Some Condensors 10uF,10 Volts or more
  19. Some Ceramic Condensors
  20. Connectors for joining the two PCB's
  21. Connectors for the adapter PCB to connect
  22. to the motherboard CPU socket.

  26. 5 years without problems.
